Liv (Rose McIver) tries to find leads on a lifestyle guru's murder on the upcoming episode of The CW's "iZombie" season 3.

Titled "Eat, Pray, Liv," next week's episode will see Liv take on a different approach to life. According to the official synopsis, Liv helps Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) solve the murder of a lifestyle guru. To dig deeper into the case, Liv consumes the dead victim's brain and adopts a zen approach to life. Katty (guest star Christina Cox), Ravi's (Rahul Kohli) old boss, gets closer to discovering the truth while also spending more time with Ravi. Peyton (Aly Michalka) and Blaine's (David Anders) budding friendship reaches a new level, which upsets Ravi. Meanwhile, Major (Robert Buckley) finds it difficult to adjust to his new job.

Season 3 picked up with Vivian building an entire zombie community, complete with a zombie island, military and school. She is preparing herself and the army of zombies in Seattle for the inevitable day that humans find out about the zombies' existence. As expected, the zombies will need to protect themselves and fight back.

Series creator and executive producer Rob Thomas recently caught up with E News and he teased that season 3 will see the characters figure out who should really be trusted. Although Live, Clive and Major have different views on the issue involving Vivian's zombie community, Thomas confirmed that the three characters will remain friends throughout the season.

As for Liv's romantic life, the executive producer assured fans that the female lead's new love interest will not be killed off, unlike what happened in seasons 1 and 2.

"I wanted to promise the audience that we would not do that to them three times in a row," Thomas shared. "Now that is not to say there won't be serious complications in her relationship. ... So yeah, she meets a young zombie suitor. I don't know why I used young. She meets an appropriately-aged zombie suitor, and they hit it off, and he does not get killed."

The third season of "iZombie" airs every Tuesday night at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW.
