iPhone 7 news: Dual-lens camera seen in conceptual rendering of flagship

More speculations about the iPhone 7 are coming out.

New iPhone 7 speculations are starting to come out from different sources, including a rendering of the device by concept designer Geert van Uffelen, as reported by iClarified.

The new conceptual rendering features the rumored dual-lens camera, a smart connector, and stereo speakers. The video of the render also states that the upcoming edition of the best-selling iPhone smartphones will have no antenna bands on the back.

It also implies that the headphone jack will no longer be included as a feature of the iPhone 7. But it does not mean that the audio quality of the device will be compromised, because the Cupertino-based company will add a second bottom-facing speaker in all the upcoming units.

Another concept, made by Marek Weidlich and called "vision Next," is inspired by the ideas of auto manufacturing mogul Henry Ford. It has a screen display that covers the entire device. This means that it will no longer have the home button that is normally present in the latest iPhone models.

Meanwhile, MacRumors revealed the contents of the latest research notes of KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

"New iPhone shipments to be capped by similar form factor as iPhone 6s & 6s Plus; top hardware upgrade is dual-camera (5.5-inch model only), though many competing models with dual-camera will launch soon, joining others already on the market; first impressions could underwhelm," the analyst revealed.

Rumors about the speculated camera feature came out after the Cupertino-based company acquired in April 2015 the Israeli camera technology corporation LinX Technologies, which specializes in manufacturing multi-aperture camera equipment intended for mobile products.

Other speculations about the features of the upcoming iPhone 7 and its bigger iPhone 7 Plus variant include thinner design, possible wireless charging support, waterproofing capability and the inclusion of the latest A10 chip.

iPhone 7 is expected to come out in September 2016.
