iPhone 6 vs HTC One M8 vs Galaxy S5 specs comparison: Flagship phone wars

This is the perfect time for smartphone shopping, since the tech giants have decided to compete with each other and pit their latest flagship phones to entice customers to buy their new products.

Earlier this year, Samsung released its Galaxy S5 line to replace the Galaxy S4 as its flagship product. On the other hand, HTC also decided to come up with its One M8 to stake a claim in the smartphone market. Not to be outdone, Apple Inc. ended the third quarter of 2014 with a bang by releasing the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, this time in bigger sizes to match against the first two "phablets."

But with all these options, how should a consumer choose the device that is worth their money?

Here is a comparison of the three new smartphone devices from Samsung, HTC, and Apple.
