iOS 9.2 jailbreak release date: Status of jailbreak tool

The release date of iOS 9.2 jailbreak is still unconfirmed, but rumors claim that the jailbreak tool for the latest iOS released by Apple will come out very soon.

The Apple iPhone 6 Plus could soon run on the latest iOS 9.2 jailbreak Apple

According to speculations, the release of the beta version of the next iOS operating software from the Cupertino-based tech giant could make it easier for jailbreak developers to come up with iOS 9.2 jailbreak.

Earlier reports claimed that a developer already figure out how to jailbreak Apple's iOS 9.2.

According to reports, iOS security researcher Luca Todesco teased on Twitter under the name @qwertyoruiop that he already made an iOS 9.2 jailbreak tool. But he still has not released it to the public since "9.2 is much harder to jailbreak than 9.1."

But while the public is waiting for Todesco to release the iOS 9.2 jailbreak, the security researcher claimed that he will not release it because he is planning to allow the popular jailbreak teams like TaiG and Pangu to do that.

Day Herald earlier revealed that Todesco reportedly collaborated with Pangu back when the Taiwanese hacking team was developing a fully functional jailbreak for iOS 9. This could mean that he might allow Pangu to release the jailbreak tool to the public once they manage to come up with a fool-proof version of the jailbreak tool.

Speculations about the possible release of the iOS 9.2 jailbreak surfaced after Apple announced the release of iOS 9.3 beta. The new iOS update reportedly comes with several feature enhancements such as the 3D Touch technology as well as the latest Night Shift feature that is reportedly only useful on iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.

Meanwhile, Redmond Pie advised iOS users to avoid downloading iOS upgrades beyond 9.0.2 if they want to jailbreak their devices because there are no successful jailbreak tools released for the more recent versions of the mobile operating system at the moment.
