iOS 10 jailbreak release date: iOS already jailbroken ahead of public release

Apple hasn't even had the chance to roll out the highly anticipated iOS 10 in its very first beta from, but a jailbreak tool for it has already been developed.

Popular jailbreak enthusiast iH8sn0w developed the iOS 10 jailbreak on his iPhone 5. The best part is that the device appeared to be running Cydia without a hitch.

However, it looks like iH8sn0w isn't too keen on sharing his iOS 10 jailbreak to the public, which means that jailbreak fans will have to wait for a public version to come, that is if there will ever be one.

If anything, iH8sn0w's feat proved that even Apple's landmark mobile operating system is vulnerable to jailbreaking.

Sadly, popular hacker groups such as Pangu and TaiG still have nothing for fans but radio silence concerning a public rollout of an iOS 10 jailbreak or at least one for the iOS 9.3.

There hasn't been a jailbreak software since Pangu's iOS 9.1 jailbreak released in March, which only benefited a small portion of the jailbreak community.

Since the hacking teams haven't released a new jailbreak tool, users are starting to worry that it has become impossible to jailbreak the iOS. After all, Apple has been taking measures to stop jailbreaking for good.

However, iH8sn0w's success is proof that it is still doable. At the moment though, there's no official word about an iOS 10 jailbreak tool in the offing.

It has long been rumored that Pangu and TaiG are simply looking to develop an iOS 10 jailbreak instead, seeing that they were tight-lipped before, during and after the release of the iOS 9.3.2 and iOS 9.3.3.

Last month, Italian developer Luca Todesco proved that the iOS 9.3.3 can be jailbroken. Unfortunately, he refused to release his jailbreak software to the public.

The iOS 10 will be released in its final form this fall. If TaiG and Pangu will wait for it to be released first, jailbreak fans are in for a longer waiting game.
