'Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2' spoilers: New poster depicts Snow's downfall

The latest movie poster released to promote the film "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2" represents the fate of the president of Panem and the Capitol. Posted on the official The Hunger Games Twitter account, it shows a white statue bearing the image of President Cornelius Snow (Donald Sutherland) destroyed into pieces by the District rebels, with a glaring Mockingjay symbol painted in red on the white wall behind it.

The new promo is in direct contrast with the past promo poster for "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1," wherein President Snow was shown sitting on a white chair, wearing a white suit, in a room with white walls.

The second part of "Mockingjay," the series finale of the film trilogy based on Suzanne Collins' best-selling novels, will focus on the full-scale war between the rebels from the oppressed Districts of Panem and the elites of the Capitol. The revolution is being led by Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), who reluctantly took the role to remove the tyrant leadership of the Capitol. She is joined by her friends Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Finnick (Sam Claflin), Haymitch (Woody Harrelson), Johanna (Jena Malone), and Beetee (Jeffrey Wright).

They are joined by the forces from District 13, headed by President Alma Coin (Julianne Moore). Katniss also gets assistance from other district rebels and from the Capitol itself, including Commander Lyme (Gwendoline Christie) from District 2, Commander Paylor (Patina Miller), as well as Cressida (Natalie Dormer) and her assistant Messalla (Evan Ross) from the Capitol.

The Capitol website also features the poster's image, only this time, it first shows the statue of a seated President Snow flanked by those of Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) and Johanna. It then turns into the broken statue as shown in the movie poster. The site also offers a new page where the Capitol Ministry of Information accepts feedback from the citizens of Panem to know how the districts feel about them.

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2" is scheduled to be released on Nov. 20.
