If you are throwing any themed party, then make sure to have games and activities planned to make it more happening. For example, for a pool party, you can plan a pool volleyball game, water polo, musical water balloon toss, etc. For this you do not really require a ton of preparations just head to the nearby store and grab a net for a volleyball game, some balloons, and stuff like that.
