The anticipated season 6 of Netflix's "House of Cards" is rumored to preview in June 2018. Moreover, the plot of the upcoming season is also rumored to center on another character after Kevin Spacey's sexual assault allegations.

According to Express, each season of "House of Cards" arrives 12 to 14 months after the last episode aired. That being said, season 6 is expected to arrive in June 2018. Moreover, Express said that the upcoming season's plot will focus on Claire Underwood's (Robin Wright) presidency. Greg Kinnear and Diane Lane will also be joining the cast for the season 6.

The production for the sixth season of the hit series was suspended on Oct. 31 after Spacey (who played the lead role, Francis Underwood, for the series) was first accused of sexual assault. According to Buzzfeed News, actor Anthony Rapp said Spacey made unwanted sexual advances on him when he was 14 in 1986 at Spacey's New York apartment. Spacey responded by apologizing to Rapp and saying he did not remember the incident. After Rapp shared his story, Spacey's other victims came forward.

According to The Guardian, Spacey is being investigated by the British police for assaulting two victims in 2005 and 2008. Strange enough, both were committed in the area of Lambeth, South London. The Guardian also reported on Jan. 18 that another victim came forward. This time, the man was assaulted in Westminster in 2005. Furthermore, The Old Vic, where Spacey had been an artistic director from 2003 to 2015, said 56 people contacted them with 20 individual sexual misconduct allegations against Spacey. The Old Vic also said that 14 cases were so serious, they had advised the complainants to report the cases to the police.

Not long after, according to Deadline, Netflix confirmed that the series' sixth episode will push through without Spacey. Additionally, Netflix announced it will not continue with the release of Spacey's film "Gore," which was in post-production. "House of Card's" producer Media Rights Capital (MRC), on the other hand, announced they had suspended Spacey.
