"Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds" is an upcoming expansion pack for the hit action role-playing game "Horizon Zero Dawn." The expansion pack is set to release on Nov. 7, but recently Sony has run into some problems.

According to IGN, Sony's trademark was reportedly suspended. The cause of the suspension is a mobile slot machine game that filed for the same trademark. Before Sony filed for "Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds," Huuuge Games had already filed a trademark for their own title "Frozen Wilds."

This revelation came to light when a NeoGaF user discovered the suspension notice. The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) had given Sony a suspension letter, and the user stated that the suspension was apparently more than a month old.

IGN reached out to Sony for more information but have yet to receive an answer.

Whether or not Sony will have to change their expansion's title, or whether or not they will reach out to Huuuge Games and come up with some form of compromise is still unclear.

The "Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds" expansion pack features brand-new storylines to play through, new characters, a new setting to explore, new machines and an enhanced version for the PlayStation 4 Pro that features improved graphics, game environments and better visuals suited for the console.

The expansion pack's trailer was released on PlayStation's YouTube channel in June and it featured the frozen wastelands that protagonist Alloy will have to traverse. The settings range from cold and cruel mountain ranges to frightening sceneries of fire and frost. The trailer also featured more peaceful places for Alloy to explore.

"Horizon Zero Dawn" was developed by Guerilla Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment in February. It was released for the PlayStation 4 and the plot revolved around a young hunter named Alloy as she journeyed through a world inhabited by giant robots.

An open-world RPG, Alloy can dispatch enemies in different ways catering to the player's preferences.
