Things seemsto look well for Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) after the rollercoaster of events in the previous episode of "Homeland" season 5, especially now that the former FBI agent will finally get the support of her old friends in the next episode.

In the past episode, Carrie was finally reunited with her mentor Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin). But when she told him that the Russians wanted to see her dead, the Middle East Division Chief did not seem convinced about her claims.

But after weighting her revelations, Saul finally realized that his protégé might be telling the truth after all right before Carrie boarded the plane that will lead her to complete oblivion to avoid being killed. This made him realize that someone from his own team is working as a double agent. That was why he decided to contact to Carrie's boss Otto Düring (Sebastian Koch) to hide the files that he copied for Carrie so the German philanthropist could hand it safely to her.

However, the FBI head might have forgotten to use his exceptional agent's intuition by continuing to trust Allison Carr (Miranda Otto), who has also been double-crossing the FBI all throughout the season as she is also working for the Russians.

In the next episode of "Homeland" season 5 titled "Oriole," Saul will confess to Allison that he smuggled the leaked CIA files. However, he did not mention why he did that in the first place.

A sneak peek for the episode shows Allison talking to Russian intelligence officer Ivan Krupin (Mark Ivanir) to tell him about Saul's confession. She also says that Saul did not mention why he did that, but she has a hunch that he did it for Carrie, since she is the only one who could make him do such things. However, Ivan reminds her that Carrie is already dead, but Allison mentions that she only saw her dead photos, and not her dead body.

Will Allison and the Russians discover that Carrie is still alive?

"Homeland" season 5 episode 7 will air on Sunday, Nov. 15, on Showtime.
