What could be more a more romantic way to spend a first date than the one where the couple had to run around a deserted island to stay alive?

In the seventh episode of "Hawaii Five-0" season 6, Steve McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) will finally start dating again after getting his heart broken by Catherine (Michelle Borth). This time, he will be taking the fun-loving, nature-lover Lynn Downey (Sarah Carter) on an exciting island adventure in a deserted paradise.

But the romantic getaway will become deadly when a mob leader, who is unexpectedly hiding on the isolated island, decides to run after them to make sure that his location remains a secret.

In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight, O'Loughlin and Carter talked about the misadventures of their characters during the supposedly romantic first date.

"Of course, they run into trouble -- terrible trouble," O'Loughlin teased. But it did not seem to turn off his newfound love. According to Carter, all the running and fighting for survival kept her interested in McGarrett. "He gets to show off all his Navy SEAL skills and she's impressed," she stated.

But while McGarrett is busy avoiding the wrath of a disturbed mob boss while protecting his date, his team needs to race against time to look for the location of the father of a high school football star athlete. This is after learning about the threat of a local gambler, who will allegedly murder the athele's father if he does not do well in a game. Can they find the father on time?

The official synopsis of the episode titled "Na Kama Hele (Day Trippers)" reads:

"McGarrett's first date with Lynn on a deserted island turns deadly when a mob boss hiding there hunts them down in order to keep his location a secret. Also, Chin, Kono and Grover must race against the game clock to locate the father of a high school football star who will be murdered by a local gambler if his son doesn't throw the big game."

"Hawaii Five-0" season 6 episode 7 airs Friday, Nov. 6, on CBS.
