Developer 343 Industries has moved the "Halo 5: Guardians" Hammer Storm livestream to an earlier date. Instead of conducting it on Friday, Feb. 26, the game studio decided to hold the livestream event tomorrow, Feb. 23 at 3:00pm PST.
The developer promised that there will be a lot of new stuff that will be unveiled at the Hammer Storm event. One of which is the brand new arena map called Torque. 343 Industries provided a slew of concept artwork showing off the interior of the buildings on the new location.
The art team is going for both "simplicity and functionality" and the images suggest they are on the right track. A screenshot showing a fully furnished building from the map coming to "Halo 5: Guardians" via the Hammer Storm update was also released (see above photo).
Meanwhile, 343 Industries also talked more about the REQ reveal. The developer highlighted two in the post – the red-clad Marauder and the blue-garbed Decimator, which look all too fearsome. The game studio also treated users to a good look at Helioskrill Warbound, Helioskrill Bloodgorger, Jumpmaster Dispatcher and Shinobi Heartless.
There were also close-up photos of the exciting new weapons and weapon skins coming from "Halo 5: Guardians" Hammer Storm. In addition, 343 Industries also has something for the new game mode Grifball. "We're not pulling the curtain back on Grifball entirely just yet, as we've got a few things planned for next week," it teased.
343 Industries also noted that a permanent social playlist is now available, complete with "a variety of offerings" such as single game modes like the Social CTF, which is live at this time of writing, variety and community playlists, new game types and other cool features.
