'GTA Online' Adversary mode update: 'Inch by Inch,' Vapid Minivan drop April 12; Rockstar offers discounts, Double GTA$ & RP

The "Inch by Inch" Adversary mode will be accessible on "GTA Online" on April 12 along with other goodies. Rockstar Newswire

"GTA Online" is getting a new football-type Adversary mode called "Inch by Inch" where players will "fight tooth and nail" to take home and keep custody of what developer Rockstar called the Package .

The new Adversary mode for the "GTA 5" multiplayer sees players "clawing your way through a hail of bullets to reach your team's end zone." After the touchdown, the mode automatically resets, "ensuring a frenetic and desperate battle of wits and skill."

In the new "GTA Online" Adversary mode, the player bearing the Package is incapable of using his weapons so his teammates will have to cover him from the barrage of bullets in order to get to the goal line unscathed.

Rockstar warns that while a "burst of speed" will help the Package-carrying player press forward, his teammates will seal the deal. This "GTA Online" Adversary mode is definitely about "tenacity and teamwork."

"Inch by Inch" will officially drop on "GTA Online" on April 12. To prep players for its release, Rockstar is giving them a chance to score double $GTA and RP all week long after topping up their Maze bank account from the Rotating Playlist of Adversary modes.

All this week, there will be a Double GTA$ & RP Adversary Mode Playlist ready to be fired off live and direct from the GTAV launch screens. The Playlists will be switched up with different Adversary Modes throughout the week, finishing up with a Double GTA$ & RP Playlist filled with the new mode Inch by Inch.

For today, April 10 up to April 11, the playlist will be from Adversary Modes 2. By April 12 when the new "GTA Online" Adversary mode takes flight, up until April 14, it will obviously be "Inch by Inch."

There's a current promo down at Ammu-Nation, where "GTA Online" players can avail of discounts on select weapons. This promo ends on April 14 as well.

Lastly, dropping alongside "Inch by Inch" on "GTA Online" is the stylish Vapid Minivan, which will be available on Benny's Original Motorworks.
