'Grimm' season 5 spoilers: Monroe's uncle discovers more about Grimms

Adalind (Claire Coffee) welcomes son with Nick (David Giontoli) in Grimm season 5. NBC Official

Nick's (David Giuntoli) complicated situation after Juliette's (Bitsie Tulloch) death intensifies when "Grimm" season 5 returns to the screen this Friday.

TVLine recently revealed that NBC's supernatural drama series will introduce Monroe's German uncle named Felix Dietrich sometime this season.

Felix is allegedly a "bespectacled, bookish [and] slightly off-center" guy who works as an antiquarian bookseller. The report also mentioned that Monroe's uncle will discover several old books about Grimms while doing his usual round at work.

Felix's discovery will greatly help Nick this season, since Juliette destroyed most information sources when she was still alive. However, the German bookseller's discovery came at a big price when he noticed that several people started to follow his every move. These people are willing to kill anyone who will get their hands on the new discovery.

Because of that, Felix will decide to go all the way to the United States to ask his nephew for help. But can the two secure the artifact?

On the other hand, fans of the show will also see Nick's love child with his one-time mortal enemy Adalind (Claire Coffee). This is one of the situations that Nick has no idea how to deal with, but he must accept his fate in order to care for the baby.

Also, rumors revealed that Adalind will move into Nick's house to help take care of their baby. But could it mean that there will be a chance for them to eventually fall for each other this season?

The official synopsis for the season premiere titled "The Grimm Identity" reads:

"In the wake of his mother's beheading and Juliette's death, things have never been more chaotic for Nick. Having lost so much, Nick must dig deep and decide what type of person he wants to be, while also coming to grips with fathering a child with his once sworn enemy, Adalind. His search for the truth leads him to FBI Agent Chavez (guest star Elizabeth Rodriguez) and puts him at odds with those close to him."

"Grimm" season 5 premieres on Friday, Oct. 30, on NBC.
