Something dark is about to happen in the two-part season finale of "Grimm" season 5, which could possibly end the life of one of the characters on the show.

In the previous episode, viewers found out that Captain Sean Renard (Sasha Roiz) is a member of the deadly Wesen organization called the Black Claw. This will give Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) another reason to run after Renard, especially since the police-captain-turned-politician is keeping Adalind (Claire Coffee) and his son Kelly.

The trailer for the upcoming episode shows that Nick and Renard will have a deadly encounter in the precinct. Renard even throws Nick right out of his office's window. It could mean that one of them could die.

But Renard will not be Nick's only problem in the upcoming season 5 finale. Based on the trailer for the upcoming episodes, Nick will go after Black Claw after the organization unleashed a deadly creature after his longtime homicide partner Hank Griffin (Russell Hornsby).

Meanwhile, fans are still hoping that Nick and Juliette/Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) will get back together, especially since Adalind is already with Renard. But Tulloch told Collider that it might not happen anytime soon.

"For the time being (there's no love triangle), but I'd be shocked if they don't play with it because most of my comments on Social media have been "Are Nick and Eve going to get together?" And I'm like "Nothing as of yet," but I'd be shocked if that doesn't come into play," the actress said.

The official synopsis for the two-part season 5 finale of "Grimm," titled "Beginning of the End Parts One and Two," reads:

"Black Claw makes a strategic move against Hank that shocks everyone and sends Nick on a war path. Hadrian's Wall ramps up their investigation as they seek out a mysterious man named Bonaparte (guest star Shaun Toub). Meanwhile, Adalind and Capt. Renard must learn to deal with their new and very unpredictable reality with Diana (guest star Hannah R. Loyd)."

The "Grimm" season 5 finale will air May 20, on NBC.
