While "Grey's Anatomy" is still enjoying ratings success, the series' firemen-centered spin-off has been given an official title: "Station 19." The show's executive producer Paris Barclay has announced the title on his personal Twitter page, along with a short clip of the cast posing atop a fire truck inside fire station 19.

Like its hospital-centric series counterpart, "Station 19" will be set in Seattle and will be focusing on the heroism of a group of firefighters from the Seattle Fire Department. The 10-episode spin-off will be under the wing of creator Shonda Rhimes of Shondaland and writer Stacy McKee.

ABC has released the official trailer that gives viewers a glimpse into the group dynamics within the Seattle firehouse station. Firefighter Ben Warren (Jason George) shares to his teammates that he will quit being a surgeon, and while this causes the squad to chuckle at his expense, Capt. Pruitt Herrera (Miguel Sandoval) sternly reminds them that it "takes guts to cut somebody open."

Much like the surgeons at Seattle Grace, the firefighters in "Station 19" also find themselves embroiled in heated affairs, as in the case of the Captain's daughter, Andy Herrera (Jaina Lee Ortiz) and firefighter Jack Gibson (Grey Damon).

As firefighting does involve great risk, the trailer teases of a possible emergency situation involving Capt. Herrera. This will cause friction between Andy and her lover. And while the female firefighter is at the height of her grief, she gets a sermon and on-the-spot tutorial on grief-handling from the master herself, Dr. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo).

As the ailing Captain expresses the desire to step down from his position, his daughter bravely steps up to the challenge. The rest of the trailer shows Andy being entangled in a very incriminating and love-triangle inducing position with her childhood friend, Ryan Tanner (Alberto Frezza). In this regard, "Station 19" is poised to give viewers a gripping mix of suspense, drama, action, comedy and, of course, romance.

The special two-hour episode of "Station 19" will premiere on March 22, Thursday, on ABC at 9 p.m. EST.
