The conflicts between estranged couple Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams) and April Kepner (Sarah Drew) continue in the upcoming episode of "Grey's Anatomy" season 12.
In season 11, Jackson and April's relationship suffered after their firstborn son died immediately after birth because of the rare disease Osteogenesis Imperfecta type 2. At the beginning of season 12, the marriage was beyond repair. This was why they decided to file for a divorce.
Then April unexpectedly found out that she is again pregnant with her child with Jackson. Since they are in the process of ending their marriage, April contemplated telling her soon-to-be ex-husband about her condition.
She decided to tell Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw) the surprising news, but Arizona opted to come clean to Jackson because she knows that April has no guts to do it herself. So when she already made up her mind to tell her estranged husband that they will have another child soon, Arizona already beat her to it.
Based on the sneak peek for the episode titled "I Am Not Waiting Anymore," Jackson will not be pleased with April's decision to keep him in the dark about the pregnancy and will confront her about it.
"You told Robbins and you didn't tell me?" Jackson angrily tells April while she is in the middle of an operation. April will try to stop him from making a scene in the hospital, but his rage will continue, saying that there will never be a more convenient time for them to discuss the situation.
Jackson will also ask her if she already knew about the pregnancy before they filed for divorce. She will tell him that she already knew then, but decided not to talk about it because she does not want him to consider staying with her because of the baby.
Meanwhile, the promo trailer for the episode also shows Will Thorpe (Scott Elrod) asking Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) out on a date. Will Mer finally open up her heart after the death of her husband?
"Grey's Anatomy" season 12 episode 15 airs Thursday, March 24, on ABC.
