The air remains thick with too much tension in Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital as the doctors deal with their issues with one another in the next episode of "Grey's Anatomy" season 12.
Based on the trailer for the upcoming episode titled "Something Against You," the surgical residents and fellows of the hospital will be working on a highly complicated case involving one of their long-time patients. With each step taken to treat the patient, the doctors argue among themselves.
This adds to the tension that was felt during the previous episode, when Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) found out that Penny Blake (Samantha Sloyan) is under her supervision.
During the entire time, Mer continued to breathe down Penny's neck. She still seemed to keep a grudge against Penny since she was the resident on duty when Mer's husband Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey) died on the operating table.
For the upcoming episode, more complex situations will arise, which will push the doctors to their limits. Emotions will run high as they get on one another's nerves while treating a special patient.
The official synopsis for "Grey's Anatomy" season 12 episode 7 reads:
"The team of doctors work on a high stakes case of a long time patient, adding additional pressure to an already tense environment. Meanwhile, Bailey wants Ben to kick out their new roommate, and Arizona is eager to get back into the dating world with a new wingman."
Aside from the tension between inside the hospital, it seems like Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson) and Ben Warren's (Jason George) marriage will also experience a slight problem after he decides to take in Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams) into their home when his own marriage deteriorated.
But out of all the tense situations happening between the doctors, Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw) will decide to return to the dating scene after her divorce with Callie Torres (Sara Ramirez). But who will help her?
"Grey's Anatomy" season 12 episode 7 airs on Thursday, Nov. 12, on ABC.
