"Grand Theft Auto" fans are once again disappointed when the highly anticipated "GTA 6" became noticeably absent during the recently concluded PlayStation Meeting in early September. However, new speculations claimed that those who are waiting for the game will be more upset since Rockstar Games has reportedly canceled its development.

The Bit Bag speculates that the game developer already canceled "GTA 6" since it did not appear during Sony's keynote event. Rockstar is reportedly exerting all their efforts in improving "GTA 5," and they are busy releasing DLCs for the current game.

At the moment, the game developer is gearing up to unveil the new "GTA 5 Online: Bikers" DLC. The new expansion pack will reportedly come out with a lot of new motorcycles, wardrobe, weapon, and other accessories upon release.

On the other hand, Game N Guide reported that Rockstar Games might be focused on creating the sequel for "Red Dead Redemption." This is also another popular game under the studio, and "Red Dead Redemption 2" also has a huge following.

Rockstar has yet to comment about the rumored cancellation of "GTA 6," but other speculations claimed that, since each installment under the "Grand Theft Auto" franchise normally has a five-year gap between them, the new game could still be launched sometime in 2018.

Other reports claimed that "GTA 6" will feature actress Eva Mendes as its lead character in the still unconfirmed game. She is expected to be joined by her real-life partner, Ryan Gosling, in the game.

There are also reports claiming that "GTA 6" will feature more true-to-life missions like bank robbery and joining the army camp, among others. The rumored game will also include other exciting tasks such as house buying in exchange of money.

The game will reportedly feature New York City and Miami maps, as well as the map of an international location.

Official news about "GTA 6" is expected to be revealed soon.
