Grammys 2015 winners, results: Best Song, Best Album, Best New Artist, and more predicted

One of the biggest and most anticipated musical events of the year will be held on Sunday, as the Grammy Awards hands out the recognitions for the music industry's best for 2014. But before the actual awards night commences on Sunday, several list of predictions on who will win the Grammys have been posted online. 

The predictions are either based on popular votes or critics' choices, but it does not mean that these will be the actual results that will be read during the Feb. 8 event to be hosted by LL Cool J. 

Here are some of the predictions for the upcoming awards: 

Song of the Year

  • Nominees: "All About that Bass" (Meghan Trainor), "Chandelier" (Sia), "Shake it Off" (Taylor Swift), "Stay With Me [Darkchild Version]" (Sam Smith), "Take Me to Church" (Hozier)
  • Predicted winner: "All About that Bass" (Meghan Trainor), "Take Me to Church" (Hozier), or "Chandelier" (Sia)

Record of the Year

  • Nominees: "Fancy" Iggy Azalea featuring Charli XCX, "Chandelier" (Sia) "Stay With Me [Darkchild Version]" (Sam Smith), "Shake it Off" (Taylor Swift), "All About that Bass" (Meghan Trainor)
  • Predicted winner: Taylor Swift's "Shake it Off" or Iggy Azalea's "Fancy"

Best New Artist

  • Nominees: Iggy Azalea, Bastille, Brandy Clark, Haim, Sam Smith
  • Predicted winner: Sam Smith

Best Rap Performance

  • Nominees: Childish Gambino for "3005," Drake for "0 to 100 / The Catch Up," Eminem for "Rap God," Kendrick Lamar for "i," Lecrae for "All I Need Is You"
  • Predicted winner: Kendrick Lamar for his song "i"

Best Country Album

  • Nominees: Dierks Bentley for "Riser," Eric Church for "The Outsiders," Brandy Clark for "12 Stories," Miranda Lambert for "Platinum," and Lee Ann Womack for "The Way I'm Livin'
  • Predicted Winner: Miranda Lambert's "Platinum"

Album of the Year

  • Nominees: Beck for "Morning Phase," Beyoncé for "Beyoncé," Ed Sheeran for "X," Sam Smith for "In the Lonely Hour," and Pharrell Williams for "Girl"
  • Predicted Winner: Beyonce 

Since this is not the official list of 57th Grammy Award winners, fans should tune in to the live telecast that will be aired by CBS on Feb. 8 at 7 p.m.
