However, the current Nexus 5X recently got a discount, which is always viewed as an indication that a new version of the device in question will be released soon. This hints that the Google Nexus 2016 will come with an upgraded version of the Nexus 5X after all.
Various retailers such as Amazon and B&H are offering the Nexus 5X with markdowns starting from $70 to a whopping $150.
It looks like Google wants to sell all the current-gen Nexus devices it can get before it puts out the highly-anticipated Google Nexus 2016.
As for the Android N, the complete moniker is expected to be announced soon. However, there are already rumors that it will stand for nutella.
In one tweet sent out by Android senior vice president Hiroshi Lockheimer, who is notorious for dropping clues about next Android offers, it was teased that the name could very well be the popular chocolate brand.
One feature in the Android N is the Nuclear Wipe, which allows users to brick their phone when it is lost or stolen. Another involves a Touch ID-type feature.
