Is Santana proposing to Brittany soon?

Glee star Naya Rivera recently posted a new teaser on her Twitter account, igniting speculations from fans that her character is getting engaged next season.

Rivera's tweet reads: "Popping a very important question today at glee! ;-)"

However, the former series regular turned guest actor did not divulge any further.

Fans of the Brittana tandem would definitely love to see the characters get married before the series ends this season. Brittany, played by Heather Morris, had been Santana's greatest love since the beginning of the show.

Morris will also share a scene with Lea Michele next season. This is confirmed by Glee's lead star herself, as Michele posted a photo of her and Morris reading similar books on her Twitter account.

Michele's character Rachel Berry will reportedly return to McKinley High to revive the New Directions after Sue Sylvester (played by Jane Lynch) disbanded them last season. This time, Rachel will take the helm after former glee club director Will Schuester took over the supervision of rival club Vocal Adrenaline.

But just like before, Sue will do everything to dampen the already dwindling spirits of the New Direction members. A spoiler posted on Mjsbigblog said, "Sue organizes a last minute glee 'invitational' at McKinley in order to break the spirit of the fledgling New Directions. Vocal Adrenaline and the Warblers are invited. They all assemble at McKinley for rehearsal."

This will make Rachel and Will work together again, and they will even asked Darren Criss' character Blaine Anderson to help them since he was once a member of another vocal group, the Dalton Academy Warbler.

But if Santana and Brittany will be engaged this season, fans would love to know what's next between Blaine and Kurt Hummel, played by Chris Colfer, who also got engaged in Season 5. Though Blaine and Kurt decided to end their engagement, the series fans still want the two of them to end up with each other.

It is reported that the series will end in Season 6. This was announced by series co-creator Ryan Murphy one week after the tribute episode for the late actor Cory Monteith, who played the role of Finn Hudson, was aired on Oct. 17, 2013.

Other original cast members who will reportedly appear in "Glee" season 6 include Diana Agron to reprise her role as Quinn Fabray, Amber Riley as Mercedes Jones, Dot-Marie Jones as Shannon Beiste, Kevin McHale as Artie Adams, Chord Overstreet as Sam Evans, as well as Jenna Ushkowitz as Tina Cohen-Chang.

The sixth and final season of Glee will be aired sometime in Spring 2015.
