Fans got a taste of the love triangle resolution in last week's episode of "Girl Meets World" season 3. The moment fans have been waiting for months has finally come in "Girl Meets World" season 3, episode 9.
However, in a surprising turn of events, a new guy named Evan enters the picture and complicates things. In the previous episode, as everyone went to bed, Riley (Rowan Blanchard) stayed up and looked at the sky, with Evan eventually joining her and striking a conversation with her.
The promo for "Girl Meets World" season 3, episode 9 teases that Maya and the others are going to meet Evan. Lucas (Peyton Meyer), however, does not like the idea of Riley hanging out with a new guy, let alone staying up all night with her.
The "Girl Meets World" season 3 clip showed how persistent Lucas was in learning whom Riley stayed up with, seemingly unable to contain his jealousy.
However, it does not look like Evan will get in the way of the potential romance. If anything, he will help Lucas realize whom he really loves. This was also suggested in the leaked scenes from the episode.

The promo for the upcoming "Girl Meets World" season 3 episode teased that Evan will help Lucas and Riley as well as Josh (Uriah Shelton) and Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) in terms of relationships and made them realize that conversation is the most important part of any.
When Evan brings up the night he and Riley spent together looking at the sky and talking about life, Lucas stormed off. Maya, on the other hand, summons Josh and urges them to talk about them.
In their most adorable moment yet in "Girl Meets World," Josh made her realize that she did not really like Lucas and that she only saw him that way because she was protecting her best friend and was just making sure that he will be right for Riley.
It is looking like Josh and Maya might give romance a shot seeing that during the whole conversation, they were holding hands.
As for Lucas and Riley, another clip shows the former choose the latter and Riley reciprocates the love. She won't have to worry about Maya as she was the one who sent Lucas to her.
By the end of "Girl Meets World" season 3, episode 9, it looks like Rucas and Joshaya will all be official.
