"Girl Meets World" season 2 recently returned with an episode titled "Girl Meets STEM." Here, there was practically no mention of the bombshell dropped in the New Year episode as it focused on Riley proving to the taunting young boys in her school that she can do a science experiment.

According to Carter Matt, the installment was meant to serve as an encouragement to the young viewers that tune in, especially young girls to consider trying out the fields of science, technology, engineering and math as a career and a passion.

In episode 27 of "Girl Meets World" season 2, expect no allusion to the Riley-Lucas-Maya love triangle and the fateful New Year party that revealed that Riley still has feelings for Lucas. The episode is titled "Girl Meets Money" and it looks like it will be a Farkle dilemma this time.

The synopsis picked up by Carter Matt reads: "When Farkle's dad makes a bad investment, Farkle becomes worried about what that might mean for his family." The episode plays with the thought of the Minkus family on the brink of losing their riches.

This "Girl Meets World" season 2 episode also teases the idea of Farkle's life about to be turned upside down unless he does something about it. As usual, he won't be alone in this endeavor, with the whole gang by his side ready to lend a hand.

In a promotional photo for the installment, it was shown that Lee Norris is in fact reprising his role as Stuart Minkus in this episode. The actor first played the now-iconic role in "Boy Meets World." That being said, fans of the parent series better prepare for the nostalgia.

As for the love triangle issue, it does not look like "Girl Meets World" season 2 will tie that bit in a pretty little bow anytime soon. This means that this dilemma could even move along with the group all the way to high school.

"Girl Meets World" season 2 episode 27 "Girl Meets Money" airs Jan. 22 on Disney Channel.
