'General Hospital': Jason Morgan and Elizabeth reunite while others need to watch their backs

Are Jason and Elizabeth getting back together again?

Recent spoilers for "General Hospital" suggest that the former lovers will once again reunite after a long time.

In the spoiler posted by Celeb Dirty Laundry, it is mentioned that Jason Morgan (Bill Miller) will finally recover after escaping the captivity of Ava Jerome (Maura West). He was dotingly cared for by his nurse Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst), who never left his side during the entire time that he is unconscious. All these time, Jason's wife Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) is with her possibly new love interest Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson). Will this mean that Jason can rekindle his relationship with Liz?

Almost a decade ago, Jason and Liz met and tried to have a relationship. But things never picked up, until they find their way to each other again in 2006. Their relationship looked serious, and Liz gave birth to their son Jake. The couple never had a chance to get married, because Liz was afraid that Jason's violent lifestyle could pose danger to her and her kids.

When Jason gained consciousness, he mumbled the name "Jake," which means that he remembers Elizabeth.

Fans of the 51-year-old soap drama have mixed reactions with this development. Some would like to stick with the Jason-Sam love affair, while others are rooting for Jason and Elizabeth to finally have their "happily ever after." This angle will be tackled in the upcoming episodes of the show.

Meanwhile, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will have to deal with dangerous mob riots and bombings that recently happened in Port Charles. These will keep her very busy, but she still needs to find time to keep her eyes on her husband Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan) as Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) shows interests on him.

This angle was reported on Soap Opera Digest, saying, "Lucy turns to Duke for comfort—again—in her moment of emotional need after an uncomfortable run-in with Scott and Bobbie. When Anna finds the pair together she is far from thrilled."

General Hospital airs every weekday on ABC.
