'Game of Thrones' season 7 spoilers, news: two actors added to expansive season 7 cast

Two new actors are added to the growing cast of "Game of Thrones" for season 7.

Fan-moderated website Watchers on the Wall revealed that two British actors landed small roles in the upcoming season of the epic saga based on George R.R. Martin's hit novel series, "A Song of Ice and Fire."

According to the report, Paul Ward from "Vikings" and "Penny Dreadful" and "Dickensian" actor Joseph Quinn had been tapped to join the series in season 7.

While Ward's role is still unrevealed, Quinn's CV on Curtis Brown talent agency's website revealed that the actor will portray Koner in the series. However, what the character will bring to the table remains unknown since he was not included in any of the books written by Martin for the series. This could mean that the role will not be a major part of the plot for the upcoming season.

But according to another fansite, Winter Is Coming, there could be a possibility that Quinn could portray the role of the Gate Guard, who is described as a "confident, characterful, straight-talking Northern lad with a great face to play across a very excellent series of scenes."

Meanwhile, actress Sophie Turner told Variety during the Emmy Awards show that the cast of the series is already having a hard time letting go of the show even if they still have another season before filming the series finale.

The actress revealed that most of the cast members are spending more time in Belfast to hang out longer with each other while they are filming season 7. But when reminded that they still have an eighth season to shoot, the actress dropped a cryptic teaser about the future of some of the characters of the show. "We've got one more season...well, not all of us," Turner said.

Turner also said that her character, Sansa Stark, will go through a lot of contemplation in the upcoming season of "Game of Thrones."

"You don't really know what's going on with her this season," the actress stated. "We're trying to figure out where her loyalties lie and you're wondering if she is going to pull through and be a true Stark or not," she said.

HBO will release the premiere episode of "Game of Thrones" season 7 sometime in 2017.
