Even the Khaleesi is not happy with Jon Snow's fate.
Emilia Clarke, the actress who portrays the role of Daenerys Targaryen in HBO's epic "Game of Thrones" series, told MTV News that she was clearly devastated when she found out that Kit Harington's character was left for dead by his own men in the season 5 finale of "Game of Thrones" aired earlier this month.
"I read the script and I cried," Clarke confessed during the promo appearance for her upcoming film "Terminator: Genisys." "I called David and Dan, and I took Kit out for numerous drinks, and was like, 'what the... what the... you're leaving me?'"
But just like any other fans of the show, Clarke still believes that there is still hope for Jon Snow in the series.
"If I have to bet, I'd say it's a 50-50 chance — there's some helpful people there who could bring him on back to life," the actress said.
The 28-year-old British actress must be referring to the red priestess of R'hllor Melisandre, portrayed by Carice van Houten. All throughout season 5, Melisandre showed a lot of interest in Jon Snow since she arrived on the Wall with Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dillane). It could mean that Jon Snow is the real "Azoe Ahai reborn," contrary to what the priestess earlier told Stannis.
However, Clarke confessed that she knows nothing about the plot for "Game of Thrones" season 6, and if Jon Snow will be resurrected in the series in the future.
"Seriously I can with all honesty say that I have no idea what's happening," the actress said.
Although many are hoping that the character is still alive, both the season 5 finale director David Nutter and Harington confirmed that Jon Snow died in the said episode.
Clarke's character in the TV adaptation of George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" novels is also in the crossroads by the end of season 5. Daenerys had to flee Meereen with Drogon when the Sons of the Harpy revolted against her leadership and plotted to kill her. She and Drogon went in a hilly area outside of Meereen, but were spotted by the Dothraki horsemen who used to oppose her late husband Khal Drogo (Jason Momoa).
It is still unclear whether her men Daario Naharis (Michiel Huisman) and Jorah Mormont (Iain Glen) will find her or if the Dothraki warriors will decide to imprison her in "Game of Thrones" season 6, which is expected to air in 2016.
