Someone's birthday party might be ruined in the next episode of "The Fosters."
Callie (Maia Mitchell) will be celebrating her 17th birthday, but things are not looking good between her and Brandon (David Lambert) because of AJ (Todd Williamson). Will this ruin the perfect birthday party planned by Jude (Hayden Byerly)?
The official synopsis for the episode titled "Its My Party?" reads:
Callie thinks she's celebrating her 17th birthday with just the family, but Jude surprises her with a house party. Jude's surprise risks exposing both Callie's and Mariana's secrets when he innocently invites Rafael and Wyatt to attend. Meanwhile, Brandon's suspicions about AJ's behavior come to a head, and Mariana and Callie decide to buy a car together without telling their moms."
The teaser promo for this episode shows Callie and AJ kissing, despite earlier agreeing to hold off being physically intimate until he finally moves into Mike's (Danny Nucci) home. But Brandon is not fond of their budding romance, especially since he found out something about AJ's real personality.
Brandon confronts AJ about it during the party, but things easily heat up between the two. Will this prevent Callie from pursuing a relationship with AJ, or will this cause a rift between her and Brandon?
Meanwhile, Callie's former boyfriend Wyatt (Alex Saxon) also attends the party, after Jude innocently invites him. But when Wyatt confesses to Callie that he and Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) slept together, the birthday girl does not seem too happy about it. Is it because Callie still has feelings for her ex, or is she worried about her sister being with her former boyfriend?
On the other hand, Callie and Mariana will make a big purchase without telling their moms. This will probably infuriate Stef (Teri Polo) and Lena (Sherri Saum).
With all these drama happening during her birthday party, will Callie have a happy celebration?
"The Fosters" season 3 episode 6 is slated to air on Monday, July 13, on ABC Family.
