The PC edition of "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" was released in early October, but game developer Scott Cawthon still has more plans for the game in the coming days.

Cawthon posted a new image on his website to reveal that a free update that will be called "Custom Night" will be released soon. But the independent game developer did not reveal more details about the upcoming release.

However, Cawthon explained what the "Custom Night" update is all about in his post on Steam.

According to the game developer, the "Custom Night" feature will be added to the game's Extras menu upon release. He also said that the update will be released for free, and it will be automatically added to the game as soon as he finished it.

He also clarified that the upcoming update is not canon to the game, which means that it will not influence the entire storyline of "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location." This means players can immediately activate it from the Extras menu and play it as often as they like. However, he also reminded the players that the "Custom Night" feature can only be unlocked as soon as they reach the 3-stars status.

Cawthon also revealed that he wanted to release the "Custom Night" update before Halloween, but it might not be possible since the holiday is only a few days away from today. However, he revealed that he might be ready to release the new update sometime in December.

The "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" survival horror game is a spin-off from the original "Five Nights at Freddy's" series that Cawthon also developed and published. While the PC version is currently available, players can also expect to see the game come out on iOS and Android on Wednesday, Oct. 26.
