'Finding Carter' season 2 spoilers: Carter's past sheds light about Lori in episode 4 'Pretty When You Cry'

Carter will be confused more than ever about the mystery of her past in the coming episode of "Finding Carter" season 2.

This week's episode showed how David's (Alexis Denisof) lies to Elizabeth (Cynthia Watros) led to a lot of grave consequences, particularly the abduction of Carter (Kathryn Prescott) in the hands of his former lover Lori (Milena Govich), who also happened to be the real biological mother of Carter and her twin sister Taylor (Anna Jacony-Heron).

The unexpected twist in Carter's story finally answered the question that had been hanging since the show's first season: Why did Lori kidnap Carter?

But could the truth repair Carter's relationship with her real family? And could David and Elizabeth manage to heal their marriage after learning about the affair?

In the upcoming "Finding Carter" season 2 episode 4 titled "Pretty When You Cry," a person from the teen's past could help her get a better insight about her present situation.

The official synopsis for the episode reads: "A stranger from Carter's past provides new insights on Lori."

It could mean that Carter will get a better idea about her abductor/biological mother. But can it also help her understand why everything happened the way it were?

Also, the episode synopsis stated that "Joan interferes with Grant." The youngest Wilson offspring has been ignored by the family most of the time. But Grandma Joan (Meredith Baxter) might step up to give Grant (Zac Pullam) all the attention that he has been longing for, but it might not be reciprocated properly.

The drama in Carter's life will continue, and their family will have to go through a lot before they can actually heal. With David and Elizabeth's trial separation, and the tension between Carter and Taylor, as well as the treats of Lori's interference, it seems like the drama in the Wilson household will not be over anytime soon.

"Finding Carter" season 2 Episode 4 airs on Tuesday, April 21, on MTV.
