After portraying the role of a young vampire in the "Twilight" saga, actor Jackson Rathbone landed a new gig on the small screen. He will be part of "Finding Carter" when the series returns for the second half of season 2 in October.
The Entertainment Weekly revealed that the 30-year-old actor will portray the role of an attractive businessman named Jared.
Spoilers for "Finding Carter" season 2B claim that Jared will suddenly get attracted with Carter (Kathryn Prescott), who is going through a lot as all her family's deepest, darkest secrets unfold in the first half of the season.
Carter will apparently fall for Jared, but their romance will not run without a glitch. According to reports, Jared's huge age gap with Carter will make their relationship inappropriate. But will Carter delve into this obviously wrong relationship to forget all her current problems?
Early reports claim that more secrets will be revealed when "Finding Carter" season 2 returns on MTV.
According to the synopsis for the soon-to-be released episodes, Carter's life turns upside down once again after learning that her biological father had a secret son with Lori, the person who kidnapped her when she was a young girl. Carter also tries to discover what she really wants for herself, which is why she decides to drop out of school and see where she really belongs. She eventually finds a job as a bartender, but she has to lie about her age in order to work.
The spoiler also reveals that Carter is going to have a grand time in her new job, and will bring her small group of friends to her new world where underground partying is rampant. However, troubles once again surface as she gets too involved in what she thinks is the right world for her. Can she still get out of it before it's too late?
"Finding Carter" season 2B returns to MTV with episode 13 titled "Native Son" on Oct. 6.
