'Fear the Walking Dead' season 2 spoilers: Everything to expect in the LA group's waterborne adventure

Water won't stop walkers from treating themselves to a flesh feast in "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2. The cast of the series recently dropped details about the spinoff going waterborne during the PaleyFest.

In the event, two clips from the new season were shown. The first one saw Madison and Daniel discuss whether or not Victor Strand, who owns the yacht that will take them to San Diego and hopefully to safety, is to be trusted.

Indeed, the rich businessman has done some things that will make one doubt his goals. In an interview with MTV, actor Cliff Curtis, who plays the role of Curtis in "Fear the Walking Dead," said that Strand is "a mole" who has "no sense of good."

Fans will be seeing a lot more of Strand in "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2, with the character's essayer Colman Domingo now a series regular. From the looks of it, Travis's group has him to worry about other than the epidemic.

Domingo described his character via Variety as "an enigma wrapped in a riddle, wrapped in cash." He has all these plans about where to go, but the others on board his expensive boat aren't too keen on him taking the lead.

The second teaser for "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 featured Nick underwater and about to be attacked by a walker floating on top of the ocean. "Zombies don't drown; they keep floating back up," showrunner Dave Erickson emphasized, via the Hollywood Reporter.

However, it has been hinted in the event that Nick, like Strand and Daniel, possesses the skill set and thinking needed to survive, which means that he will likely break away from this walker trouble.

"Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 will also close in on Travis and his son Christopher's relationship after the former kills the latter's mom after being infected in the first season.

Alicia, on the other hand, is still reeling from losing her boyfriend and the life she had. In "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2, she will look for connections and someone to confide in inside their small group .

Meanwhile, Ofelia will be hesitantly propelled to adulthood after she realizes that "the rules have changed." Madison, on the other hand, will use her instincts to make alliances survive.

For now, Travis and the group are looking to find a place "where they can drop anchor and stay, ultimately." It does not matter where, so long as they find refuge.

"Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 premieres April 10 on AMC.
