After dropping the first DLC pack for "Fallout 4" in March, Bethesda prepares for the launch of the second expansion pack, titled "Wasteland Workshop," next week.

The game studio announced the upcoming release of "Fallout 4's" second DLC on their website, saying that "Wasteland Workshop" will come out on Tuesday, April 12.

While the first DLC, "Automatron," centers on creating custom companions using robot parts, the second DLC allows the players to design and fix cages to detain live creatures such as raiders or Deathclaws to tame them as pets or trophies or train for battle.

The DLC also comes with a set of new design options that can be used for settlements such as letter kits, nixie tube lighting, and taxidermy, among others. Players can also increase the skills of their settlements with the upcoming downloadable expansion pack.

The "Fallout 4: Wasteland Workshop" DLC can be downloaded on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC for $4.99/£3.99/€4.99/AU$7.95. However, players can also opt to purchase the season pass worth $49.99 to be able to get hold of all DLC packs, including the already available "Automatron" and the "Far Harbor" DLC that is slated to come out in May.

Aside from the upcoming "Wasteland Workshop" DLC, Bethesda also released the "Fallout 4" Survival Mode Beta update, which includes brand-new survival features like thirst, hunger, sleep, as well as disease icons that changes colors depending on status.

It also comes with several survival fixes, including lowered carry capacity, lowered sleep cycle, and lowered chances of getting a disease.

The other survival fixes that came with the Survival Mode Beta update are the following:

  • Nuka Cola Quantums no longer cancel out caffeine effect from Nuka Cola and Nuka Cola Cherry
  • Fixed occasional issue with becoming parched or peckish when thirst or hunger is actually satisfied
  • Fixed issue where Adrenaline effect would incorrectly persist after changing difficulty level
