It's hard to find the right words to describe the midseason finale of "Faking It" season 2, but it surely kept the viewers' hearts racing with each twist in the story.

"Our first season finale was so epic that I felt like we set the bar high," shared executive producer Carter Covington in an interview with TVLine. "I wanted to continue the tradition of Faking It being a show that has crazy season finales. I think we succeeded."

Lots of things occurred during the midseason finale that has since kept fans eager for more, and these, of course, include all the relationship dramas that happened between the characters in the show. The executive producer shared what's in store for the guys and girls of Hester High.

First, fans of the show were given that glimmer of hope that the friendship between Amy (Rita Volk) and Karma (Katie Stevens) will be mended despite the trust issues.

Then, Shane (Michael Willett) and Duke (Skyler Maxon) are in for some complications after Shane outed his lover.

"Shane's going to realize that he had Duke all to himself before he outed him. Now he'll have to share him with a lot more people," Covington said.

Theo (Keith Powers) and Lauren (Bailey De Young) will also face a huge relationship hurdle once the show returns next year. This will be the outcome of Theo's admission that he is an undercover cop, along with his fake admission that he does not have real feelings for Lauren — but fans know that it's only because of the pressure that he got from his boss. Lauren's declaration that she is actually intersex will also be tackled in season 2B.

But Karma and Liam's (Gregg Sulkin) relationship might be facing the biggest test once the series returns next year. Even if she forgives Liam and Amy for hooking up behind her back, another girl will make things worse between the two.

According to MTV, a new girl will enter Hester High School, and she will remind Liam that he is the son of a wealthy businessman. The new girl's name is Zita Cruz, and she will be portrayed by "Pretty Little Liars" alum Chloe Bridges. Will her presence give Liam's rekindling romance with Karma a little shake?

MTV's "Faking It" season 2B is scheduled to air sometime in 2015.
