F1 2015 release date news: Pushed back to July

After announcing that the seventh official "Formula One" racing simulation video game will be released in June, game developer and publisher Codemasters decided to hold back a little bit and delay the release date for another four weeks. Instead of coming out on June 12, the new "F1 2015" will now be released on July 10 in Europe while North American players will be able to get hold of the game beginning July 21.

Despite the schedule setback, the new version of the "F1" game will still be the first game in the series to be released at an earlier date since its past installments were typically released in September or October. Because of the earlier release date compared to its predecessors, "F1 2015" is considered to be the most relevant "F1" game ever to be released because it will come with several free digital updates that will make the game in tune with the races happening all throughout the season.

Along with the new schedule announcement, Codemasters also unveiled a brandnew gameplay trailer that showcases the latest version of the EGO game engine. This reportedly comes with a lot of new improvements to the physics model of the game.

The title will also come out with an all-new Pro Season mode which is said to be more challenging than the earlier gameplay since players can opt to use only the cockpit view without any assists or options to restart a session. The players can also choose any driver from the current lineup of drivers this season, except the Marussia duo, Will Stevens and Roberto Merhi, who will be introduced when the first live patch is released.

Aside from the improved gameplay and graphics display, the new "F1 2015" will also come with a more exciting cinematic experience, introducing a broadcast style that will have the usual opening sequences, grid sequences, on-track celebrations as well as the traditional champagne showers in the podium that normally happen in real F1 competitions.

Those who will pre-order the game in the U.K. through GAME will also receive several exclusive items like the "F1 2015" metal case as well as a hints 'n' tips guidebook called "Race Like a Champion." On the other hand, those who will pre-order the game in North American countries through GameStop or EB Games will also have the "F1 2015" metal case.
