SCS Software, the developer and the publisher of "Euro Truck Simulator 2," announced that the upcoming downloadable content (DLC) of the vehicle simulation game which has the working title of "Beyond the Baltic Sea," will feature three Baltic states — Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia — as well as southern Finland and western Russia, which will include Russia's second largest city, Saint Petersburg.

The "Beyond the Baltic Sea" DLC announcement was made in a post on March 2 on the official blog of SCS Software. The post was made in confirmation of the guesses of "Euro Truck Simulator 2" fans after SCS Software published a post with teaser screenshots regarding the game's possible next expansion on Feb. 6. There is currently no release date for the upcoming expansion, however.

SCS Software is slowly completing the whole European continent for the game. Last December, the game launched its Italia map expansion. The northern Italian DLC featured 19 new cities for players to explore which includes the famous cities of Rome, Napoli and Palermo.

In the game, players take on the role of a trucker with the business of delivering important cargo across European cities. Players will be able to grow their business by completing the deliveries. To be able to compete against other companies, players have to build their own fleet of trucks, buy garages, hire drivers, customize vehicles and manage the business properly to maximize profits.

"Euro Truck Simulator 2" is available on Steam for $19.99.
