Hakeem (Bryshere Gray) surprised everyone by proposing to his girlfriend Laura (Jamila Velazquez) during the latest episode of "Empire" season 2, but things could go awry after more secrets are revealed in the next episode of the critically acclaimed musical series.
The surprise engagement shocked everyone, especially since Hakeem's former lover Camilla (Naomi Campbell) had just passed away. But Hakeem and Laura seemed to be genuinely in love with each other. But could their marriage plans push through with an imminent threat about to explode in the next episode? The episode is titled "Time Shall Unfold" and will air next week?
According to the synopsis for the episode, Anika (Grace Gealey) will drop a big announcement that could shock the entire Lyon family. It can be remembered that she is suspected to be pregnant with Hakeem's child as a result of their occasional trysts during the start of season 2. Will this affect Laura's plans to marry the youngest Lyon son?

Also, the trailer shows Lucious and Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) arguing about what to do with Freda Gatz (Bre-Z). Lucious became very intent on signing Freda to Empire to help keep his friend Frank Gathers's (Chris Rock) daughter out of the ghetto lifestyle. But it seems like Cookie is not interested to help him execute his plans because she feels that the young rapper is dangerous.
