The ninth installment of the "Dynasty Warriors" franchise is fast approaching, and Koei Tecmo Games is not letting up on the increasing hype. Koei Tecmo Games releases all-new trailers showcasing the game's vast content.

Koei Tecmo Games Japan and Koei Tecmo Games America have released their own versions of trailers in the past few days, ranging from character-specific clips that show off the new playable characters to full-range trailers that feature the gameplay and the new open-world setting.

Koei Tecmo Games America has been slightly behind in their trailer releases as the game content has to pass through translation. Players who understand Japanese and fans who wish to see the in-game footage and content first without care for understanding the dialogue and story can enjoy all the new and latest trailers available on Koei Tecmo Japan's YouTube channel.

"Dynasty Warriors" has long held one of the top spots in the action game genre since the days of the PlayStation 2. From its meager beginnings as a one-on-one fighting game in "Dynasty Warriors 1," the game received a complete overhaul for "Dynasty Warriors 2." The game platform and design had changed drastically into one of the pioneers of one vs. many action games. The succeeding titles in the franchise all followed suit with hours of hack-and-slash fun.

Up and coming "Dynasty Warriors 9" sees yet another design shift, with the game adopting an open world format and receiving a complete combat overhaul and revamp. Developers did away with the traditional mission-based gameplay and menu intermissions players are familiar with, giving the game a fresh new look and feel. Events now flow in real-time world exploration as players battle through armies from one objective to the next.

"Dynasty Warriors 9" will be available on Feb. 13 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. For PC users, the game will also be available on Steam on the said date.
