Duggar family news: Reality-TV family criticized anew for letting kids bike without helmet

The ever-controversial conservative Duggar family are grabbing headlines again as what a simple photo of the Duggar children having fun has pulled the reality-TV family back into the center of controversy once more.

There is no denying that the Duggars are some of the most controversial families ever. After all, as the star of their own reality-TV show, it is but normal for the members of the family to be treated like microorganisms placed under the microscope for scrutiny.

Recently, haters and hecklers of the reality-TV family have found another reason to hurl criticisms at the Duggars. While Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar must have felt sure that their recent Facebook post does not involve anything offensive, as it is nothing more than a photo of young Duggar children riding their bikes on a dirt road, critics have been quick to point out that the elder Duggars have failed to equip the kids with protective gears, such as a helmet.

As the Duggar family is conservative and known for wearing long clothes to cover most parts of their body, it is but understandable why young Duggar kids are also dressed in the same manner even when they are at play. Hence, apart from the children having no helmet, naysayers also criticize the Duggars for allowing the kids to wear clothes that hecklers claim are not ideal for biking.

While the said photo generated negative comments from the followers of the Duggar's official Facebook page, there are also some who came to the defense of the reality-TV family, pointing out that critics are only making a mountain out of a molehill.

"Oh good God........don't people have anything better to complain about than these kids not wearing helmets or on a road that isn't what they think it should be????? Get over it already! We lived thru no helmets if we could even have a bike, skating in the street, no seat belts to hold us in tight......we all survived. They will too. Let them be kids, not anyone else's business how these people live OR raise their children," says one of the netizens on the comment section of the said photo on Facebook.
