"Counting On" star Anna Duggar is thanking God for her family. The Christian reality star recently reflected on her many blessings in life, and she counted her children as top among them.

She posted a video on Instagram (@annaduggar) showing her kids eating cucumbers for snack time. Her daughters Mackynzie Renée, 8, and Meredith, 2, and sons Michael, 6, Marcus, 4, and Mason Garrett, 7 were all happily munching on their snacks, and the sight really melted Anna's heart.

"You know you're a #DuggarMom when your kids eat cucumbers faster than you can prepare them!" she wrote in the caption, even sharing a "fun fact" about her family: "On Joshua's side of the family I'm mommy to 1/2 of the grandchildren so far...and the only grand-daughters!"

"I'm so thankful for the 5 beautiful children God has given us (+1 in heaven!)," she also wrote.

Not everybody knows that Anna suffered from a miscarriage several years ago. She earlier told Today that it was actually hard for her to get pregnant, especially since she was still reeling over the loss of her unborn child. "It was very hard to go through the excitement of finding out we were expecting a little one and then losing it," she told host Meredith Vieira back in 2010.

During that painful time, Anna and her husband Josh relied heavily on their faith in God. Because of Him, they were able to get past that stormy period in their life.

"One thing that really helped was thanking God, thanking him in the good times and thanking him when things don't go the way we expected them to," she shared. "If you thank God it really, really releases you and helps you to be able to go on with life."

Anna and Josh's marriage remained strong even after he was exposed back in 2015 for molesting several underage girls when he was still a teenager, including his sisters Jill and Jessa. A few months after that revelation, he was once again placed in hot water for having two paid accounts in the cheating website, Ashley Madison.
