Another expansion pack is coming to "Driveclub" this month, shortly after Evolution Studios released two earlier expansion packs back in November. The "Driveclub" Redline expansion pack is scheduled to arrive in North America on Dec. 23, but European and Australian players can enjoy the new release as early as this Wednesday, Dec. 17.

The game developer announced the release of the new DLC through a video preview posted in the official Facebook page of "Driveclub." The post reads:

This is your first look at the new cars coming to #DRIVECLUB in the REDLINE Expansion pack, which will be available to download from PlayStation®Store on December 17 in Europe/AU/NZ & December 23 in America.

This pack is also part of the Season Pass and features all 5 cars shown in this video, plus a new Tour serving up 11 new events & 5 extra Trophies to compete for."

The cars shown in the video include a Ferrari 458 Speciale, Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, McLaren F1 LM, Mercedez-Benz SLS AMG Coupe Electric Drive, as well as the Renault Alpine AIID-50. Also, the new Redline Expansion Pack contains a new Tour that features 11 brand-new events that already use the newly unveiled weather feature in "Driveclub," as well as five new unlockable Trophies.

To ensure that the DLC pack is working properly, players are advised to download the game from the store that matches with their own game version. It means that if a player owns a U.S. copy of "Driveclub," they can only download the expansion pack from the U.S. PlayStation Store.

Meanwhile, the game developer addressed the issue about the delay in the PlayStation Plus version of the popular racing video game. According to Evolution Studios, the said version will actually be released soon, but they still need to improve the server performance so that the game can handle a lot of PS Plus players at once.

"[DriveClub PS Plus Edition] is coming as soon as we are able to improve server performance so that it can support the many, many PS+ players," the game developer said. "We will have news for you on this soon."
