'Driveclub' to get new tracks with early 2016 DLC

 Sony

The new year will bring new tracks for "Driveclub," Evolution Studios revealed.

The game studio announced the release of new "Driveclub" DLC containing four new tracks on Twitter. These are set to arrive in early 2016.

Based on the images included in the post, the upcoming tracks for the 2016 DLC feature varied environments. This means that players will have the option of racing on paved city streets or rugged open roads during daytime or nighttime. They can also choose to race in various weather conditions.

However, the post did not mention further information about the upcoming tracks.

Fans of the racing video game are now speculating about the locations of each track. Some of the most popular guesses include France, Tokyo, and Italy, among others. But Evolution Studios as well as game publisher Sony has yet to confirm if these places are part of the upcoming downloadable content next year.

Meanwhile, "Driveclub" game director Paul Rustchynsky also shared via his own Twitter account that a special gift is coming on the PlayStation Store, which will be unveiled this week. Likewise, the inclusions of the game are still undisclosed.

The PlayStation 4-exclusive racing game had a rocky start when it was released in October 2014 due to several glitches. Its PlayStation Plus Edition, which was initially scheduled to come out alongside the game's full version, had to be delayed because of the unexpected traffic to the servers.

But Evolution Studios tried to make up for the earlier blunders by supporting several new downloadable content that either come for free or for a fee. The studio also regularly releases updates to further improve the features of the game.
