'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' release date news: North America and Europe regions to get it shortly after Japan release?

The interval between the Japan release of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2"and its North America and Europe release will reportedly be three weeks at the longest. Bandai Namco

After a cryptic website and countless speculations, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" has been made official and is headed to Japan this winter, which means that it will be out by November or December at the earliest.

However, the fighting game will only be released in the country for the PS4, while North America and Europe will be getting it on the Xbox One and PC.

While Bandai Namco Entertainment appears to have everything set up for the Japanese release of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," gamers in the United States are still in the dark as to when the game arrives in their regions.

Looking at the release schedule of the first "Dragon Ball Xenoverse," Bandai set the release date in North America almost three weeks (19 days to be exact) after the initial Japanese release and after 22 days for Europe.

Should Bandai follow the same interval, players outside Japan will not wait that long to experience "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2." Of course, things might change so it is best to wait for the official word from Bandai, which, sadly, is the tricky part here.

There have been rumors going around that "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" won't arrive in North America and Europe until next year. No available details corroborate that though so fans will simply have to stay put and wait.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" in the third week of May. Not much has been revealed although it was teased that gamers will once again be tasked to repair the "Dragon Ball" timeline or at least protect them from forces that intend to destroy it.

In the announcement trailer for the game, it was teased that the future saw the destruction of the world and evil taking the reins in what's left of it. Players will have to find a way to prevent that from ever happening.
