'Dragon Ball Super' spoilers: Opposing teams in Champa saga all set up

Dragon Ball Super Toei Animation

While fans wait for the next installment of "Dragon Ball Super," which sees Super Saiyan Blue Goku take on Golden Frieza, fans can already look forward to the exciting Champa saga, which showcases an all-out tournament between two formidable teams from Universe 6 and 7.

Team Champa and Team Beerus will go head to head all throughout this arc and the members of the respective groups have already been established and looking at the lineup, fans will surely be keyed up for the forthcoming tourney.

"Dragon Ball Super" will bring together Z Fighters Goku, Piccolo, Majin Buu and Vegeta to represent Team Beerus. As powerful as the roster already looks, a fifth fighter will join the party. The hint about the identity of the mystery combatant is that he or she is "mysterious pink fighter."

Tackling the powerful-looking Team Beerus are the members of the Team Champa from Universe 7, which include warriors Frost, Magnetta, Botamo, Hitto and Kyabe. One of the characters apparently comes with an assistant who goes by the name Zuno.

Frost is said to be a look-alike of Frieza though it remains to be seen if he will be as close to the tyrant when it comes to abilities and powers (the improvement Frieza has shown so far in "Dragon Ball Super" has been incredible).

On the other hand, Kyabe is the most human-like of the group and resembles a Saiyan but there's no telling if he will fight as strongly as one. Botamo looks a lot like a bear but is expected to fight like a monster. Hitto's striking resemblance with Piccolo pits him straight against him while Magetta appears to a robotic fighter.

The Champa saga will begin in "Dragon Ball Super" on Jan. 24. Next week, fans will get to see episode 26 of the anime, which will boost Goku and Frieza's battle to the highest level.
