The winner in the inter-universal tournament will finally be revealed in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 40, which is titled "The Conclusion at Last! Will the Victor be Beerus or Champa?"
In the last moments of "Dragon Ball Super" episode 39, Goku summoned all the strength he has left after suffering a beatdown by Hit to show the fullness of a new powerful technique he has been trying to perfect.
Goku has been developing this move to defeat Beerus. It is an upgraded version of his Kaioken technique, which he merges with the potency of his Super Saiyan Blue form for greater impact. He will use it on Hit in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 40 in order to finish the battle.
The promo for the upcoming "Dragon Ball Super" teases that it will be another fast-paced installment. Adamant as ever in getting the job done and enjoying while at it, Goku challenges Hit to show his full power, which he is confident to surpass.
However, the final seconds of the "Dragon Ball Super" episode 40 show that Hit obliged to Goku's request. From what it looks like, the Saiyan suffered a crushing blow from his powerful opponent.
