'Dragon Ball Super' spoilers: Vegeta takes over; Frieza gains enough power to destroy the planet in episode 27?

Dragon Ball Super Toei Animation

Vegeta will finally get his turn to exchange blows with Frieza in the next episode of the popular anime "Dragon Ball Super," which is titled "The decisive Kamehameha Goku!"

The Saiyan Prince has been patiently watching Goku and Frieza square off but when Goku, on the verge of beating the ruthless tyrant, was pinned to the ground after taking a hit from Sorbet, Vegeta knew he had to step out of the sidelines.

With that said, fans can look forward to a battle between Vegeta and Frieza in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 27. Markedly, the latter is already in bad shape and it should be a hard time for him to take on Vegeta in his Super Saiyan Blue form.

It was discovered that Frieza could only be in his formidable Golden form for a certain amount of time before his energy and power drain him out. His fight with Goku has gone for quite a while and viewers saw Frieza grow weaker by the minute.

In the previous "Dragon Ball Super" episode, Goku did not use this weakness as an opportunity to finish him, but chose to return to his base form to end the clash once and for all. But just as he tried to, Sorbet caught him off guard with a laser blast.

This ultimately allowed Vegeta to take over. In the promo for the installment, Frieza's attacks seem to have no effect on him at all allowing Vegeta to easily attack the tyrant, who was growing more apprehensive.

In a surprising turn of events, just as things are going Vegeta and Goku's way, Frieza turns the tables and releases a destructive ball of energy that appears to have destroyed the entire planet.

But if the title of the "Dragon Ball Super" episode is anything to go by, Goku will find a way to win the war. How that will happen, viewers will know when the installment airs Jan. 17 on Fuji TV.
