The Tournament of Power is down to its last few minutes in the next episodes of "Dragon Ball Super." The intense showdown between the fighters of Universe 7 and 11 is slowly reaching its climax. To make the situation worse for Goku, Vegeta, Frieza and Android 17, the leader of the Universe 11 Troopers, Toppo, unleashed his enormous power as a God of Destruction. As per the latest spoilers, Vegeta will step up to make his biggest sacrifice yet in the tournament and, hopefully, defeat the powerful Universe 11 fighter once and for all.
According to Comic Book, "Dragon Ball Super" episode 126, titled "Surpass Even a God! Vegeta's Desperate Blow!!" will feature the Saiyan Prince's ultimate sacrifice to take down Toppo. To recall, the tag team of Vegeta and Goku is assigned to fight Jiren, while the duo of Frieza and Android 17 had to face Toppo.
In a surprising turn of events, Toppo revealed that he is actually the next God of Destruction of Universe 11; thus, his power is far greater than any other mortals in the tournament. Frieza underestimated Toppo's strength, making it easy for the latter to kick him out of the battle. Android 17 will have no choice but to fight Toppo alone, but thanks to Vegeta, his stay in the tournament will be extended.
It is rumored that Vegeta will give his all to defeat Toppo, engaging him in a series of full power, non-stop attacks. While "Dragon Ball Super" episode 126 might see the Saiyan warrior surpassing the power of a God of Destruction like Toppo, his extreme efforts might get him eliminated from the competition.
Meanwhile, the synopsis for "Dragon Ball Super" episode 127 suggests that it will be Android 17's turn to show his capabilities in order to save Universe 7. The episode, titled "The Final Barrier of Hope," might show Android 17 making a sacrifice by using a full power barrier technique to defeat his opponent.
With Vegeta and Android 17 likely to be eliminated in the coming episodes, the last standing warrior of Universe 7 will be none other than Goku.
"Dragon Ball Super" episode 126 will air in Japan on Sunday, Feb. 4, while episode 127 will be released two weeks later.
