'Dragon Ball Super' spoilers: Will Goku ignore Chi-Chi's wrath to train with Whis in episode 17?

 Toei Animation

After Goku found out that Vegeta is being trained by Whis in the previous episode of "Dragon Ball Super," he will do everything in the upcoming episode to get the chance of training with Lord Beerus's trainer in the next episode of the newest "Dragon Ball" anime.

Based on the teaser for the upcoming episode titled "Keep This a Secret From Chi-Chi! I Wanna Go Train Too," Goku will do everything that he can to have an opportunity to become Whis's student, even to the extent of waiting for Bulma outside the shower while she is taking her bath.

But Goku and his son Gohan, who is worried about his intention for the training, are both scared about Chi-Chi's reaction if she finds out about Goku's plans. True enough, Goku's overprotective wife became furious when she sees him talking with Vegeta's wife.

Yet despite his wife's anger and his son's worries, Goku still seems to push through with his plans to undergo training with the martial arts master when he flies off to an unknown place after talking to Bulma on the phone.

Aside from his concern for his father, a lot of things are also happening in Gohan's life in this particular episode of "Dragon Ball Super." First, Gohan's wife Videl gave birth to their daughter Pan. She will turn out to be one of the major characters on "Dragon Ball GT" when she gets older. But in the latest anime from the "Dragon Ball" series, Pan remains to be a giggling toddler.

Also, fans of Akira Toriyama's masterpiece will once again see Gohan wear his Saiyaman costume. Goku's son stopped living in his old superhero persona for quite a while, but the Great Saiyaman will once again resurface in this episode for a still-unknown reason.

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 17 airs on Sunday, Nov. 1.
