'Dragon Ball' episode 54 spoilers, plot: Black Goku becoming Super Saiyan Pink soon?

Future Trunks Toei Animation

Black Goku's transformation into Super Saiyan Pink could be featured in episode 54 of "Dragon Ball Super."

Based on the promo image that was leaked online by Saiyan Island, the ruthless main villain of "Dragon Ball Super's" Future Trunks saga will become Super Saiyan Pink.

While Bandai and Toei Animation have yet to confirm if Black Goku's transformation into the pink-haired version of the Super Saiyan character will happen anytime soon, the publication pointed out that Bandai collaborated with a candy company that will use Super Saiyan Pink's image. If the candies will be distributed in Japan on Aug. 30, it can be assumed that the character could be introduced in the anime series sometime this month.

Meanwhile, the trailer for "Dragon Ball Super" episode 54, titled "Inheritor of Saiyan Blood: Trunks' Resolve," shows that Vegeta in his Super Saiyan Blue form will impose a rough training on his son, Future Trunks, in order to prepare him for an upcoming battle with Black Goku.

The translated dialogue from the trailer, as reported by Yibada, reads:

"Hey Trunks, did you eat your fill? We're going to go defeat Black pretty soon, after all. Oh? You're sparring with Vegeta? He's way more awesome now than he was back in the old days. Don't sweat the small stuff, just hit him with everything you've got! Next time on 'Dragon Ball Super: Inheritor of Saiyan Blood: Trunks' Resolve.'"

Could Future Trunks' training under his father give him a proper preparation for the upcoming mega fight with Black Goku? If he manages to defeat the villain, speculations claim that Future Trunks could prove that he is the sole inheritor of the Saiyan Blood in the series.

Episode 54 of "Dragon Ball Super" is scheduled to air on Fuji TV on Sunday, Aug. 7.
