"Dolmen," a third-person science-fiction (sci-fi) action and cosmic horror with elements of a role-playing game (RPG) developed by Brazilian game developer Massive Work Studio with the support of Square Enix Collective, is scheduled to launch its Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign next month.

PC Gamer reported the news on Mar. 11. Moreover, the British site also reported that Massive Work is planning to launch the game's Steam Early Access in September after the Kickstarter campaign. The said early access for the game is estimated to cost between $20 to $30.

According to the Square Enix Collective page of the game, "Dolmen" is set in a hostile alien world called Revion Prime. Players take on the role of an earthling who happens to be the only survivor of an astronaut crew. He had no idea what happened to the other astronauts, what went wrong in their mission and what is the reason why he was the last to be awakened from a cryogenic slumber he found himself in.

The game has the following features — a strategic and dynamic combat with a variety of melee weapons and moves for players to use, a chance to explore an alien environment, a story for players to unravel, an opportunity to challenge players in surviving in an unknown world by finding materials and adapting them to their needs and a means to craft weapons as well as armor and upgrade them. "Dolmen," like other RPGs allow players to build their characters the way they want to and level up on their own pace. Moreover, the upcoming game will also feature an online cooperative gameplay (co-op) and a player-versus-player (PvP) multiplayer mode.

The Square Enix Collective page of the game said that Massive Work is planning to release "Dolmen" to Mac, Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.
